Thank you...

....for the restful night

When darkness appears
Moving away from light
It's a glorious time indeed
When all activities quieten down
The senses withdraw
And sleep blooms
In the silence of night
Preparing the soul
For yet another blossom
Welcoming the cheerful
Face of the morning sun
Yet one more time.

Thank you Paazh. I'm wondering if you are able to see the leaves in the foreground of this picture. It appears clearly on my laptop screen but not on the desktop. It is a photo of the moon in between leaves at night.

The photo is wonderful, with the moon peeking between the delicate leaves. Really, I didn't see the leaves at first look, then they revealed themselves to me just like my god appears in the silence of the night. Such wonder and beauty in the natural universe. My god speaks to my heart in the stillness. Is it the same for you? Always smiles and blessings for you.

@Paazh: Glad you were able to see the leaves.
@Brotherbill: Glad to hear from you. It was a view of the moon, prior to full moon day, from between the leaves at my office.
Yes the god that speaks to you in silence, is the same that speaks to me too - not just at night, but anytime when I'm silent and available to listen to the words. Thank you for the blessings.

I posted the photo of the stairway graced with leaves this morning. I called it the Stairway to Heaven and provided a link to the Led Zeppelin lyrics of the song. Please keep writing your poetry, it is a favorite of ours. Bill.

"Yet one more time" That is exactly the the way I feel every day. I know that every day is a blessing of conciousness, at leat my particular conciousness. I feel blessed to wake up in my bed and see the dawn slowly lifting it's head, and I get to witness it, "Yet one more time"
Thank you.
