Contemplations...

....above the clouds

The plane was up in the saphire blue sky
Spreading over like a silky canopy
The sun was shining bright
Illuminating an ocean of fluffy clouds beneath
A perfect example of the world of Maya
Now here, now there, but not anywhere
Appears as if it is
But in fact is not
Yet a beautiful to meet the eye
There is bliss, joy and light above
But just below
The clouds form a thick roof
Shutting out the light of the sun
Smothering the Earth in darkness
Dull and gloomy on the other end
Bright and sunny above
It is just about letting in light
Or shutting it out.

Yes. So simple. "Letting in light or shutting it out."

Seems like I missed a lot of interesting stuff in your blogsite. I will be trying my level best to catch up with all that you wrote. I am finally back home and safe. Happy New year my guru!
Missed interacting with you all these days. I love the paintings that you have posted down below.

Hello Swahilya,

Thank you for reminding me that I was shutting it out. Shutting it out with a veil. A veil painted with a picture of Me, being right. Is there any hope for me? Oops, there goes that veil again.

Be, my friend.

Hey Swa:

Gimme a link, gal. What do I do to convince you I mean business?

Let me try plain old-fashioned melodrama: if veterans such as you would not hold out a hand to wannabes such as me, then what will become of the world?
Good enough for you?
So, then?

*be now: The truth is, there is neither Me nor You. It all is.
*Matt: Thank you. Back to basics of work at home, so don't have that luxury of time I spent on the blog, when in the US!
*Vani: Of course, the link will come soon. I'm just doing some running around to get set and soon you'll see your blog here.

Dear all, I am happy to announce that I am now connected with my laptop, camera, audio equipment et al, and will come forward with more visual, audio and written posts. It's a great feeling to be connected. The laptop taught me the importance of staying in tune and being connected. Namaste. Swaha.

Thank you for reading my poems. The Carrot is a work in progress dealing with an episode in Germany after being treated for CLL. My poetry is all based in my life experience and in my meditation experience. I have written thousands over the years. For me poetry is a form of prayer. I ran into you through the Warrior Geezer blog.
Peace.
"I am that, you are that, all of this is that, and that's all there is."
