Patanjali Yoga Sutra - III - 8

तदआपि बहिरंगम निर्बीजस्य
Even that is without

Even the earlier three states of concentration, meditation and merging with the object of meditation - Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi are only an outward act when compared to Nirbeeja Samadhi - the absorbtion of the mind into a seedless state or a space in awareness where the seeds of thought even cease to exist, except the thought of "I Am," Seeds can survive only a little below the surface to have a possibility of sprouting.

Thank you for the posts. A small request - that you continue to transliterate in english along with having the original sanskrit sutras.

I have a query madam, is this state possible to attain for ordinary young folks like us engaged in worldly pursuits? It surely needs some maturity and time to even pursue the idea to begin with, isn't it so, madam? Pardon me, no offense meant.Just wondering that's all.Especially because chaotic thoughts come bombarding without pause.

madam, seeking your okay to store the blog posts as hard copy - especially those explanations of slokas of Pathanjali's Yoga Sutras and Kirshna's Gita.Would like to share them with a well-wisher.
Also inquiring if the blog has the software provision to alter the order of posts to view from old to new (for sequential purposes and easy to copy-paste).
Here's hoping that these posts remain available forever. Thank you.
