From Birth to Being
In the beginning there was nothing
In that expanse, something stirred
It was love.
It moved the two into
An embrace of togetherness.
In a cosmic infrasonic explosion
Their elements met.
The seed was sown.
Life blessed the to-be new born
And they all danced together
In the fun and cheer
The tiny freak of energy got solid
Is out today into the world stage
Looking, hearing, speaking, touching and smelling
Trying to figure out whence it came
But the search ever continues
'cause It can never be found!
But Just Can Be In That Primordial Nothing
From Whence It Came!

You just took me through a journey of high imagination. It is true that the answers to everything complex must lie in the simplest solution. It is the rule of the thumb in science to think about the simplest possible explanation for the most complex of biological processes. Because, the law of conservation of energy is of highest importance to the cell, it tries everything to conserve the available energy for all its processes. The theory of the primordial soup is the best available simple explanation of the complex process of creation. This is what Richard Dawkins tries to say in his book "the blind watchmaker". He calls nature the blind watchmaker and the probability of making a living, functioning cell is the same as the probability of this blind man mixing and matching the components of a watch to make a working model. This according to Dawkins, also holds true of evolution. Evolution is a result of natures random mixing and matching of genes. He also goes on further to justify the surivival of the 'SELFISH GENE'. I would highly recommend you to read both the blind watchmaker and the selfish gene by richard dawkins if you can lay your hands on them.I loved this poem, truely top class stuff!
Hi Robbie, so fast: I've just finished the post - the homework you gave me and I'm seeing your comment here. I have read The Selfish Gene. A very interesting book. But may I tell the one difference between a scientist arriving at truths and one who speaks out of meditation. The scientists uses thoughts, concepts, ideas and formulae with the equipment and instruments to come out with his results. But thought, concepts, ideas and formulae and the equipment are all gross which can be handled. The truth is subtle and cannot be comprehended with either the body or mind. It just has to be at rest and wisdom shines. That was how the greatest truths were expressed by many a spiritual master, some of whom did not even stand in the shade of a school.
I'll read Richard Dawkins soon. A scientist who is also in tune with the spirit, C.V. Raman, Jagadish Chandra Bose - just can't beat them!
I am still digesting your post
but it reminded me of this
"Om purnam-adah purnam-idam
purnaat purnam-udacyate. purnasya purnam-aadaaya,purnam-eva-avashishyate"
"That is infinite, this is infinite;
From That infinite this infinite comes. From That infinite, this infinite removed or added; Infinite remains infinite."
On the dot Ganesh!
Hi Swahilya,
This is the only blog where I find the comments too to be a post in itself. Real quality stuff guys. Keep going. Helps ignorant people like me a lot.
Hi Hari, just back from the Chakra Meditation programme. Drenched in the rain of meditation and actual rains in Chennai too!
